This past Sunday was the Fourth of July.
Handsome and I gathered with friends, cooked hotdogs and hamburgers, then drove to a spot nearby to watch the fireworks show. We shared, laughed, ate, and stared at the colorful bursts lighting the sky. I know I’m truly lucky. I cherish these days. Family. Friends. Food.
Over my lifetime thus far, I have seen amazing firework shows:
1/With Handsome and friends on a boat in San Francisco bay.

2/On a balcony office building with my young family where the fireworks were shot right at us, and we felt the booms in our chests.
3/When driving home after a family gathering, my friend and I spied a show at a stadium. Pulled over and enjoyed every minute.
4/After my shift ended at an amusement park, I changed clothes and sat on an old bench in the compound area with other co-workers…
